CRPEP Participates in the “Local Engineering Offices and the Challenges of Globalization Forum”

Eng. Abdul Majeed Al Qassab, Chairman of the Council for Regulating the Practice of Engineering Professions (CRPEP), said that the Council participated in the \"Local Engineering Offices and the Challenges of Globalization Forum” organized by the Bahrain Society of Engineers in its headquarters.

As part of the forum, Dr. Wafa Al Mansoori CRPEP Vice-chairwoman delivered a presentation about the Council, and the law and regulations pertinent to practicing engineering professions in the kingdom. In addition, Dr. Wafa Al Mansoori discussed the challenges facing the Council and the strategies adopted to deal with such challenges. Eng. Abdul Majeed Al Qassab added that CRPEP is adopting an awareness program covering the law and executive regulation applicable to the practice of the engineering professions in the kingdom. CRPEP also intends to deliver such awareness presentations to engineering offices, engineers working in the public and private sectors and students of engineering programmes offered in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The seminar included a discussion on the latest developments concerning the engineering professions.
