"CRPEP" Awards the Contract for its Office Automation Project

The Council for Regulating the Practice of Engineering Professions (CRPEP) awarded the Contract for its Office Automation Project to Al-Amthal for Consultancy and Software BSC closed.

The Contract includes the implementation of a Cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system covering all operations of CRPEP along with a State-of-the-Art Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System. The Contract also includes the complete digitization of CRPEP’s hardcopy Archives and incorporating the digitized records within a Document Management System (DMS). Moreover, the implementation of this Project will result in integration of CRPEP’s operations with other Government Entities such as Sijilat (MoIC), SIO and LMRA.

CRPEP aims to have the automated and integrated system up and ready by the first quarter of 2024.

CRPEP’s Chairman, Dr. Abdullah Yousif Talib congratulated Al Amthal on their winning the Contract for this ambitious Project of CRPEP which will add immense value in improving the efficiency of CRPEP’s Operations and will facilitate a much-streamlined interaction with its clients. He conveyed his best wishes to Al-Amthal for a satisfactory outcome on this strategic CRPEP Project in-line with Kingdom of Bahrain’s 2030 Economic Vision.

CRPEP’s Executive Director Eng. Hasan Al Sheikh, stated that the award of this Contract was a culmination of concentrated efforts over the past one and a half years for the digital transformation of CRPEP’s Business Landscape from the current manual processes to the online and automated processes. This would enable a higher quality performance outcome with less processing time and costs. He added that this is an exciting phase for CRPEP which will result in enhancing its endeavours to provide the best service to the Engineers and Engineering Entities in the Kingdom of Bahrain via online and real-time digital interface. He conveyed his thanks to the support and cooperation extended by Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) and Bahrain Tender Board (BTB) throughout the Tender Process.
