The Council Continues its Meetings with Engineering Offices

The Council for Regulating the Practice of Engineering Professions (CRPEP) continues to meet with Engineering Offices in order to collaborate by exchanging views, coordinating new initiatives and activities and for mutual cooperation in various areas of the engineering profession. The meeting covered various ways to ensure the continuity and development of the engineering sector; identified challenges and obstacles facing engineering offices; and recommended appropriate solutions to overcome them.

The Council’s Chair; Eng. Mariam Ahmed Jumaan confirmed during the meetings held with representatives from both Ghada Al-Marzooq Engineering S.P.C and HAJ Quantity Surveyors that the Council is keen to obtain observations and input from Engineering Offices regarding the development of the engineering sector. She added that despite the various challenges currently facing Engineering Offices including the impact of the pandemic, Engineering Offices in Bahrain continued to provide high standard engineering consultancy services to maintain the strength and stability of the economy.

Eng. Jumaan additionally explained that the Council has strengthened its supervisory role and inspection activities to ensure that Engineering Offices remain in compliance with the Council’s laws and Executive Regulations which in turn provides a fair competitive environment for Engineering Offices.
