BSE organizes "Highlights on the Regulations of the Practice of Engineering Professions in the Kingdom of Bahrain"

The Bahrain Society of Engineers, in cooperation with the Council for the Practice of Engineering Professions (CRPEP), organized a webinar entitled “Highlights on the Regulations of the Practice Engineering Professions in the Kingdom of Bahrain” via the visual communication platform yesterday evening Tuesday, 20th October 2020.

The seminar was attended by HE Eng. Mariam Ahmed Jamaan, CRPEP Chair, Eng. Abdul Majeed Abdul Karim, CRPEP Vice Chairman, and Eng. Hassan Al Sheikh, CRPEP Executive Director. The webinar, moderated by a member of the Board of Directors and Director of the Conferences and Forums Committee of the Society, Dr. Haitham Al-Qahtani, was highly popular, as it was attended by around 240 people.

Yesterday evening's webinar, "Highlights on the Regulations of the Practice of Engineering Professions in the Kingdom of Bahrain", comes as the beginning of a series of forums between the Society and the Council, as the two parties agreed to organize similar specialized forums approximately every two months, through the association’s activity “Tuesday Forum,” in which the association hosts specific experts on a certain topics.

For his part, the Eng. Hassan Al-Sheikh, in his presentation during the seminar touched on the most important provisions contained in the law which regulates the practice of engineering professions and its executive regulations, stressing that the Council has made many improvements in the procedures followed to provide higher quality services in the shortest possible time.

Moreover, the webinar many areas of concern with the applicable regulations for licensing engineers and engineering offices in the Kingdom, during which the most important requirements that must be met by the Engineer and Engineering office were reviewed, and the importance of obtaining the necessary licenses for engineers was emphasized by the Council for the Practice of Engineering Professions in compliance with the law .
