Executive Director
Eng. Hasan Al Sheikh is the Executive Director of the Council for Regulating the Practice of Engineering Professions (CRPEP). He joined CRPEP in June 2016.
Hasan has a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and Master of Business Administration (MBA). Additionally, he is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
Hasan has over (17) years of experience in the energy & chemicals industry and governmental sector as he worked as Director at Sussex Consulting, Consultant at Nexant's Energy & Chemicals Advisory for Europe, Middle East and Asia at its Bahrain and London offices. He also worked as Refinery Operations Planner at the Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco), Business Development Manager at Yateem Oxygen.
Hasan undertook strategic planning assignments for the energy and chemicals industries as well as project management, market dynamics analysis, pricing forecasts, chemical technology reviews, cost competitiveness and financial modeling for projects in the region and in the world. He acted as LMA (Lenders Market Advisor) and LCA (Lenders Technical Advisor) for some large petrochemical projects in the region.
Hasan is an active member of Bahrain Society of Engineers (BSE) and was a member of its Media & Public Relations Committee. He is also Board Member of Bahrain Smart City Society.
