Eng. Ghada Humaid Al Marzooq
Eng. Ghada Humaid Al Marzooq obtained the BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Bahrain in 1985 and MSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Bahrain in 1997.
Worked as Structural engineer in the Construction Projects Directorate - CPD, Building Department at the Ministry of works for 21 years from the year 1985 till 2005. During this period, Eng. Ghada was seconded to work as Project Engineer for 18 months in the Building Department in Batelco and to Ministry of Housing for 6 Months.
From 2005 till today, Eng. Ghada is the managing Director of Ghada Al Marzooq Engineering - GME which was previously called Jameel Khalfan Architects - JKA.
Eng. Ghada is a member of Bahrain Society of Engineers since 1985, MBR #: 444, and chaired the Technical Committee of the Deterioration and Repair of Reinforced Concrete International Conferences (seven conferences) and joined the Bahrain Society of Engineers Board between 2006 and 2008.
Attended many Conferences and engineering related Courses and did a major training in the main office of Scott Wilson Kirkpatrick at Basingstoke - England in 1990.
Eng. Ghada is the financial manager in Fatat Alreef woman society and active member socially. Eng. Ghada published a book in 2008 about the initiation of women teaching in Bahrain Villages in the First Girls primary school in Jidhafs.
