Eng. Khalid Ahmed Al Ansari
Eng. Khalid Ahmed Al Ansari was appointed as a member at the Council for Regulating the Practice of Engineering Professions on 27th December 2022.
Eng. Khalid is an Architectural Engineer with over than 38 years of experience in the field. He is currently:
- The Chairman of the Committee for Evaluation Infrastructure cost.
- Member of the Committee to Appeal against Urban Planning Decisions.
- Member of Steering Committee, National Planning Development Strategies 2030 for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
- Chairman of Planning & Transportation Sub-Committee, National Planning Development Strategies 2030 for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
- Member of Judicial Committee, Tenders Board.
He was a Secretary General for Planning and Urban Development Authority in 2014 and a member of Traffic Board Council in 2011. He is also a previous member in Bahrain Building character Committee and Bahrain Road Name and Information Signs Committee.
He has a Master of Science in Urban Design from the Edinburgh College of Art in Heriot-Watt University (Scotland) and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Cairo University (Egypt).
